  • scratches;
  • dents;
  • worn coatings;
  • tarnishing;
  • minor thread wear;
  • replacement points;
  • cosmetic imperfections.

3.3 We aim to accurately describe and grade all items, however condition grading remains subjective.

3.4 Unless specifically stated:

3.5 Normal cosmetic wear should be expected when purchasing used darts.

4. Buying Darts From TryDarts

4.1 By placing an order, you are making an offer to purchase goods from TryDarts.

4.2 A contract is only formed once your order has been dispatched.

4.3 Ownership of goods transfers once full payment has been successfully received.

4.4 Risk in goods passes to the customer upon confirmed delivery by the carrier.

4.5 Delivery estimates are estimates only and are not guaranteed unless expressly stated.

4.6 We reserve the right to limit quantities, refuse service, or cancel transactions where reasonably necessary.

5. 7-Day Money Back Guarantee (Store Credit Only)

5.1 TryDarts offers a 7-day money back guarantee on eligible website purchases.

5.2 The 7-day period begins on the delivery date shown by the carrier tracking.

5.3 The guarantee is provided in the form of Store Credit only. Cash refunds are not available under this guarantee unless required by law.

5.4 To qualify for the guarantee:

  • you must contact us within 7 days of delivery;
  • the item must be returned in substantially the same condition supplied;
  • all supplied items and accessories must be returned.

5.5 Customers are responsible for arranging and paying for return postage unless otherwise agreed by us.

  • the returned item differs from the item originally supplied.

5.8 Store Credit:

  • is non-transferable;
  • cannot be exchanged for cash;
  • may only be used against eligible purchases on our website.

5.9 This guarantee is offered in addition to your statutory consumer rights.

6. Selling Darts to TryDarts

6.1 Customers may use the Valuation Tool to obtain a Guide Quote for their darts.

6.2 All Guide Quotes are estimates only and are subject to physical inspection by TryDarts.

6.3 Final valuation offers may increase, decrease, or be withdrawn after inspection.

6.4 Factors affecting the final valuation include, without limitation:

  • actual condition;
  • authenticity;
  • completeness;
  • missing accessories;
  • market demand;
  • undisclosed damage;
  • incorrect item information.

6.5 Submission of a valuation request does not create a binding agreement.

6.6 Ownership of goods transfers to TryDarts only once:

  • the goods have been successfully received by us; and
  • payment or Store Credit has been issued.

6.7 Sellers are responsible for ensuring that all information supplied through the Valuation Tool or otherwise is accurate and complete. This includes the darts’ identity, weight, condition, damage, modifications, packaging, components and accessories.

6.8 Guide Quotes are calculated using the information supplied by the seller. If physical inspection identifies a material difference, TryDarts may issue a revised Final Offer or withdraw the offer.

7. Seller Responsibility During Transit

7.1 Any items being sent to TryDarts remain entirely the responsibility of the seller until successfully received by TryDarts.

7.2 Sellers are responsible for:

  • securely packaging items;
  • using the correct delivery address;
  • obtaining and retaining proof of postage;
  • using an appropriate tracked postal service where necessary.

7.3 If items are lost, delayed, stolen, or damaged in transit before receipt by TryDarts, the loss remains the responsibility of the sender.

7.4 Proof of postage alone does not constitute proof of delivery to TryDarts.

7.5 We strongly recommend using tracked and appropriately insured delivery services.

8. Revised Offers, Declined Offers and Return Postage

8.1 Following inspection, TryDarts may revise or withdraw a Guide Quote where the items materially differ from the information supplied by the seller.

8.2 Material differences may include, without limitation:

  • the condition being worse than stated;
  • undisclosed damage, wear, corrosion or alterations;
  • an incorrect brand, model or weight;
  • missing boxes, accessories or components stated as included;
  • non-original parts stated as original;
  • incomplete sets; or
  • counterfeit or incorrectly identified items.

8.3 Where a revised Final Offer is made, the seller may either accept the revised offer or decline it and request the return of their items.

8.4 If the revised or withdrawn offer results from a material difference between the items received and the information supplied by the seller, and the seller declines the revised offer, the seller is responsible for the reasonable cost of returning the items. This applies whether the inaccurate or incomplete information was supplied deliberately or accidentally.

8.5 TryDarts will inform the seller of the return-postage cost before returning the items and may require payment of that cost before dispatch. Unless otherwise agreed, the charge will reflect the actual reasonable cost of an appropriately tracked postal service.

8.6 If the items were accurately described and TryDarts revises or withdraws the offer solely because of a valuation error, a change in market demand or another decision made by TryDarts, TryDarts will pay the return-postage cost.

8.7 If a Final Offer was based on accurate information and the seller subsequently changes their mind, the seller is responsible for the reasonable return-postage cost.

8.8 TryDarts will take reasonable care when packaging items for return and will send them to the address confirmed by the seller.

8.9 If payment for return postage is not received within a reasonable period, TryDarts may continue holding the items while reasonable attempts are made to agree return arrangements.

9. Inspection and Authenticity

9.1 TryDarts reserves the right to inspect all items received.

9.2 We may reject items where:

  • items are counterfeit;
  • items materially differ from the description supplied;
  • condition has been significantly overstated;
  • items are excessively damaged;
  • items are incomplete.

9.3 Counterfeit goods may be reported to relevant authorities and may not be returned at our expense.

9.4 We reserve the right to photograph, test, clean, and document all items received.

10. Payments for Sold Darts

10.1 Payment or Store Credit for accepted items will normally be issued after inspection.

10.2 We may delay payment where additional verification or inspection is required.

10.3 Payments may be refused where fraud or suspicious activity is suspected.

10.4 Sellers are responsible for ensuring all payment details supplied are accurate.

11. Store Credit Terms

11.1 Store Credit may be issued:

  • under the 7-day guarantee;
  • for trade-ins;
  • for accepted dart sales.

11.2 Store Credit:

  • has no cash value;
  • cannot normally be withdrawn as cash;
  • may only be redeemed against eligible purchases on our website.

11.3 We reserve the right to cancel or refuse Store Credit obtained fraudulently or in breach of these Terms.

12. Limitation of Liability

12.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, TryDarts shall not be liable for:

  • indirect losses;
  • consequential losses;
  • loss of profits;
  • carrier delays;
  • postal losses before receipt;
  • misuse of products.

12.2 Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under English law.

13. Fraud Prevention and Verification

13.1 We may carry out fraud prevention, identity verification, and security checks where reasonably necessary.

13.2 We may request additional information before completing transactions.

13.3 We reserve the right to refuse transactions where fraudulent or suspicious activity is suspected.

14. Privacy

14.1 Personal information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

14.2 We may use information provided for fraud prevention, verification, and transaction processing purposes.

15. Governing Law

15.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

15.2 The courts of England and Wales shall have jurisdiction except where consumer law provides otherwise.
